Each student will have the opportunity to work with a registered yoga teacher to gain experiential training. Also includes assisting students while someone else is teaching. Students are encouraged to observe the impacts of yoga practices on their mind and body and can partake in 2 free DTY classes weekly for your personal and physical development.
Assessment: Practicum & Final
A practicum is an important part of Downtown Yoga & Healing Arts Yoga Teacher Training. A practicum is meant to provide students a bridge between the classroom and the studio. This is also seen as part of the final exam, a chance to see if the student can safely and effectively lead a 60-minute yoga class outside the classroom setting. The best final exams are learning moments. We have created learning goals and objectives, the final exam is a way for us to identify the material you now know and if you know how to use your resources if not.
We are excited to take this journey with you!
