This course will cover topics like: Introduction to Ashtanga, lineage, principals of asana, alignment, concepts and meaning of yoga, and readings from the Heart of Yoga $475 In person training | February 3, 4 & 5 Friday 6 -8:00p Saturday & Sunday 8:00 - 4:00p Disclosure: This course is not a standalone Teacher Training and does not meet the requirements to be a Registered 200 Hour Yoga Teacher. This Module, however can be taken as part of our full yoga teacher training curriculum. |

Take the 26+2 sequence and mix it with some Ashtanga Vinyasa, what you get is a fun and physical class. Taking some of the best parts of each style and blending them together gives you the breath centric benefits of the vinyasa styles blending with some longer holds and balancing poses. The sequence of the Bikram yoga poses sometimes referred to as the 26+2, is a system of hatha yoga.We will also cover, but not limited to: - History/Lineage - Asana Lab - Sequencing, Cueing, effective language - Pranayama * Note the contraindication of Hot Yoga * Refund/Cancelation policy applies Disclosure: This course is not a Teacher Training, it is an educational program designed for personal growth, a deeper understanding of your practice, as well as the ability to teach this class once you are a Registered 200 Hour Yoga Teacher. If you choose to do the test to obtain your Certificate of Completion, once earned, this does not qualify you to teach the 26+2 Hot Yoga series, nor does it qualify you beyond any EXISTING teaching qualification that you may have. |
